Partnerships & Collaboration

The Foundation's mission can only be achieved together. We welcome collaboration with organisations that share our commitment to sustainable, responsible technology.

Why collaborate

The challenges the Foundation addresses, from decarbonising digital infrastructure to building skills for the energy transition, cut across sectors and disciplines. Meaningful progress depends on combining the knowledge of researchers, the experience of practitioners, the perspective of public authorities and the engagement of civil society.

The Foundation seeks partnerships founded on shared goals, mutual respect and clear agreements. It is committed to preserving its independence, to managing conflicts of interest transparently and to ensuring that every collaboration serves its public-interest mission.

We welcome interest from universities and research organisations, public bodies, non-profit organisations, education and training providers, and companies that share our values.

Collaboration models

Collaboration can take different forms depending on shared objectives and the contribution each party can make.

  • Research collaboration

Joint work on research questions relevant to the Foundation's focus areas, with a commitment to sound methods and open sharing of results.

  • Programme partnerships

Cooperation on initiatives with clearly defined goals, roles and responsibilities, aligned with the Foundation's mission.

  • Knowledge exchange

Dialogue, workshops and shared publications that bring together expertise from different sectors and disciplines.

  • Education and training partnerships

Cooperation with educational institutions and training providers to develop learning opportunities and open resources.
